Why is the time/date/etc no longer accessible o...

My mini 3 just upgraded to iOS 11 and the interface has lost a lot! Is there any way to restore this or have developers decided we no longer need to know time, WiFi status, etc?

When in most apps I do get the WiFi info, time, etc on the top of the screen. However, I don’t get it on my app selection/home screens. (Screenshots below). And of course, some apps have never included the time or date, etc at the top, like games.

When in one of those apps, I can no longer swipe down from the top to see time/date/notifications. Time and date also don’t appear when I swipe left from the menu screen, just the other gadgets I’ve added there.

Why would anyone want these changes? Why make it difficult to find time, date, WiFi status, phone connection, battery info? Is there any fix? Very frustrated.

Try these two troubleshooting methods. Perform a Restore only if Restart doesn't solve your issue.
