Need help with burning photo files from my Mac ...

I'm stuck on the transfer of photos from Apple photos to the portable drive. I'm not using a third party app.

A message I get from Photos is: I need to click on authenticate before moving photos. There is no authenticate option in 'preferences.' Thanks for any help with this.
