airplay connection drops between macbook air an...

My macbook air will connect to apple tv ( via airplay but will disconnect immediately (the airplay icon turns blue then black within a second).

I have checked both networks (on the same network), updates (all latest), reset firewalls, reset network settings, tried turning bluetooth off/on (to see if it will affect it) but it still didn't make any difference.

I used it before but for some reason I think after the latest update a few months ago, it seems to stopped work. My iPhone is able to airplay without any problem.

Any other suggestions???
