When is Apple going to update their technology for the watch regarding faces? It would be more appealing to many

if the perpetual black face could be replaced with a watch face like the Samsung Gear S3.

My husband has the S3 and has over 3000 + faces which everyone admires since they can see them. The black face unless you move your wrist is a sign of the past! Having a "fleeting" picture followed by a black face is just blah! Since Apple is supposedly at the forefront of technology, it makes me question this status when I see the lesser Samsung catching up & possibly surpassing Apple in the future? I have the first gen watch And was so proud to own this. Now I'm eyeballing the S3 so I can personalize my watch for all to see.
