Can I use apple watch with a phone paid for by ...

I have an iPhone paid for by my work on Verizon. I also pay for a Verizon plan for my family's phones. If I buy an Apple Watch series 3 and pay for a cellular plan on my family Verizon plan, will it work with my phone paid for by my work?

To use the built-in cellular features, Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) requires a plan for the paired iPhone that specifically includes support for the Apple Watch.

 

I suggest that you ask Verizon for assistance with establishing whether you can arrange this for your work iPhone.
