Mac OS X Yosemite

Stupid question, but I am new to Mac. In my Mac, I have 3 drives. In "Finder" I drug one of my drives under the "Devices" list to the desktop thinking it would display the drive on the desktop and I could access it from there. When I drug it out and let go, it displayed like a poof cloud, and since then I cannot figure out how to get it back in the list of devices in "Finder"? How do I get it back? I can't access it at all since?

Choose Preferences from the Finder menu and check the boxes for it in the General and Sidebar tabs.
