How can I prevent my mac from being hacked?

I know you can change admin passwords by just pressing the power button and command s... my brother always changes my password and I physically have to hide my computer so he won't hack it.  I know people use firevault to protect files but I don't need to do that.  Are there any settings I can change or software I can install to prevent hacking? Thanks

Physical hacking is hard to defend against. Get a safe. LOL

There is a way to set up a firmware password so the command s doesn't work, but if you forget it or have a problem with your computer then your screwed.

Filevault is very risky to use, it will scramble all your files.

hahaha i probably should get a safe... how do you set up the firmware password?

Punch your brother in the FACE next time he does it. If he is bigger then you then hit him with a base ball bat. That will get his attention. Once you have his attention tell him to stop doing that.

Steal one of each of your brothers shoes, except leave the ones he dislikes the most or is totally out of place or hurts to wear, like dress shoes for school, and toss the rest in a bag into the woods.

If he comes around asking, pretend you know nothing. It will drive him crazy. LOL

Once you let him suffer a day wearing dress shoes at school and getting laughed at by his friends, return his shoes right back into their places in the closet.

He will leave your computer alone after that. LOL

Don't know how to set a firmware password, sorry. Search Apple.
