no sound in certain game apps

After updating to ios 7.04 (11B554a) some of my daughters game apps have no sound. It is only a few that have done this. I tried unistalling and reinstalling and it they still have no sound

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.

Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via Control Centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). The function that isn't on the side switch is set via control centre instead : https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085

I did this and mine still won't make noise

Do you get any sounds through the iPad's own speakers e.g. from the Music or Videos apps ? If not, and if you tried turning the volume up and down, try inserting and removing earphones

Yes, it works on YouTube and Spotify and stuff and I don't have any headphones and my volume is all of the way up

If you get sounds in some apps then that implies that the speakers are ok. Have you tried toggling notification mute 'off' and 'on' (either via Control Centre or the switch on the side of the iPad depending upon your settings and the iPad model) ?

Am having the same problem all my games all of a sudden stop playing sound but all my other apps do ( with out headphones) and idk why it's kinda annoying. (I phone 5s)

Have you checked the mute switch on the left-hand side of the phone ?

Hi I am on iPod and I have the issue where sound in YouTube works and in music but not in games I am using iPod touch 6
