Macbook touchpad or keyboard not working after ...

Previously the touchpad and the keyboard on my macbook pro 2015 did not work even after I restarted multiple times. Now, they both work, but after my computer goes to sleep and I turn it on again, they do not. Throughout, only the power button worked. Pls tell me how to fix it lol I have a bunch of assignments to get through. Many thanks
