How do I get my apple password to work on me.com?

I keep getting asked to reset my @me.com password and yet it will not work.  It has me constrained to 5gig of data when my cloud account has 200...   Any ideas here will help.

Have you tried resetting the password from Apple - iForgot?

Yes - but it seemed to be in a security "loop" and kept asking for the password that I had changed.

I gave up and "signed out"  

THAT actually solved it as I was then able to sign back in with my Apple ID and the password and it reloaded and I could then reset everything to the cloud.
