Preview iCloud deletion notices

I have a library of pdfs that I keep in Documents on iCloud to share across my devices.  I tend to leave Preview open on my iMac with a number of them open.  Recently I've started getting occasional (maybe once a day) notices on Preview regarding one of the pdfs as shown below.  I'm certain I'm not actually deleting the files on any of my other devices.  Also, the pdf isn't actually being deleted.  It just makes a new copy when I select Keep and the original is still there.  I'm not sure what is going on but it is making me a bit nervous about the safety of my files.  Is anyone else seeing anything like this?  OS X 10.12.5.

I figured it out.  My pdf files were randomly getting corrupted or being entirely deleted.  Based on my Time Machine backups, this started happening right after I installed CleanMyDrive2 2.1.7 and stopped right after I removed it.  This particular release seems to have a bug that is interacting with iCloud in a bad way.  Apparently it is treating the iCloud drive as something to clean and it is causing problems.  I reported it to the developer three weeks ago but have not received a response yet.

Don't run any cleaning or AV software on your mac. They will only offer you grief as you should know by now.
