trying to use a new montage with logic pro x on...

Using logic pro x 10.2 4 with 2009 mac pro mavericks 9.5 2009 early montage keyboard see the midi on the computer midi does not trigger keyboard unless local is on set it up in Cubase everything works fine as per you tube video cant get channels to play in logic pro x there is no montage/ logic video on you tube at least I didn't see one I am not new to daws but this montage does not seem to be like other keyboards I have used in the past any help would be appreciated
