My MacBook Pro (13

My MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) is leaking electric current at the palm portion.

Is this a product defect ?

Don’t think so... not a product defect as such.check your power adapter and the “ duck head”, check electrical outlet  to make sure it’s grounded properly.use 3 prong plug  if you can...
