Uncontrolled meeting notice duplication
Whenever I forward a meeting notice from my work computer (Dell laptop PC using Outlook) to my iMac (using Mail and Calendar) it shows up in Calendar, but also in Mail - and continually duplicates itself quickly filling up my Inbox. I have stopped it only by deleting the event from Calendar and mass-deleting the perpetually duplicating emails as quickly as possible. This first happened about a year ago, after which I didn't try again for a long while. When I tried just this past week (after a laptop upgrade at work, new Outlook version, new OSX version, new Mail/Calendar version) it did the same thing. Is forwarding Outlook meeting notices something Calendar/Mail can't handle? Should this work?
