Change in File Format
I don’t know what happened to my iTunes Library but when I look at the properties of the songs, for type of file it has MP3 Format Sound (.mp3) and others have MPEG-4 Audio (.m4a). Don’t ask what I did? I haven’t any idea. Do I have a problem? It’s just freaking me out. I have over 1000 songs in my library. I have a 5th Generation iPod Nano, which I love. Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. I have iTunes 11.1.5.5. I haven’t updated it because the last time I did my library got messed up. Under import settings it says AAC Encoder.
You could well have imported using mp3 format in the past even if your current setting is for AAC. Many digital download sites such as Amazon sell tracks in this format.
