Apple Watch Randomly Opening Apps/Using Siri

Our Apple Watch 42mm 2nd Generation is becoming quite a problem child. It is opening random apps like Maps and Messages without any user interaction. Siri will often chime in at times and say "I didn't quite catch that" as if she was ever called. From what I can tell 'Hey Siri' and similar voice only features are all disabled. What is going on?? Can you restore a watch like you do a phone?
