How do i transfer music from an iphone to my it...

I recently got a new computer, meaning my ~5 year old itunes library was wiped clean. 90% of my songs came from old cds, which i no longer own.

however, the music is intact on my iphone 6s. how can i transfer the music library from my phone onto my new computer?

are there any methods besides using third party software? the fact that thats even needed is ludicrous.

Why not transfer everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer?

You would need third part software to get that music off of the iPhone and onto your computer.
