my extended Apple keyword is not working

hi

my extended wired apple keyword backspace is not working after the recent upgrade to mac os high sierra, rest of the keyboards are working

am using MacBook 11, connected to extended wired apple keyboard with number pad etc. 

Please advise what could be the reason how can I fix it?
