iCloud Outlook integration

Hi

A client's Outlook 2016 calendar isn't synchronizing with iCloud

The initial download functions properly and so the contacts and calendar are correctly populated

But updates made within Outlook aren't synchronized to iCloud.

Incidently there isn't an iCloud folder in calendars, and when I look into the iCloud folder under Outlook, this one doesn't contain a calendar object

I uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud but obtained no improvement

Any ideas ?
