Control airpod volume during phone call via watch?

Hi dear Apple-Team,

how is it possible to control the volume of the airpods during a voice call via the apple watch?

Using the digital crown on the watch phone app doesn´t work. From the audio watch app the crown doesnt work either for phone volume.

Douple tap for calling Siri doesn´t work either. With this gesture the call will be ended during a call.

So its looking that you guys have forgotten an important feature, right? I dont like to pull out my 7+ each time when I need an volume change.

Looking forward for an update!

Cheers

Matthias

Hi

When AirPods are used for a phone call, they have switched automatically to your iPhone. (Apple Watch does not include support for using Bluetooth headphones for calls).

It is normal for a double-tap on your AirPods during a call to hang up that call. Options for controlling calls, Siri and music using AirPods are detailed here:

If you would like to send feedback or suggestions to Apple, you can do so here:

(You have posted in a user-based technical support community - you are not talking to Apple here).

ok thanks for info. sended my message to apple feedback.

but the question here would be, if anybody else has recognized this as well and if there are workarounds.

thanks

matthias

As it seems even with iOS 11 and watchOS 4 this very basic feature is not implemented yet. I hate to take out my phone each time if I want to adjust the volume during a phone call. For what do I have an Apple watch? So when this feature is a matter of course for listening music, why not for phone calls???

I will report this again to Apple but it would be helpful if I would not be the only one who will request for this
