Seeing duplicate folders when sharing

I have two computers, Mac mini and iMac. On my Mac mini I shared a drive labeled Data. I log onto my iMac and connect to my MacMini over my home network. On my iMac, I see two drives for my mac mini. I see a Data and a Data~1. Both drives are the same. They appear to be duplicates. How do I get it to stop showing Data~1 and just show Data?
