Photos on Watch loading but constant spinning dots

Hi, just got a new Series 3 Apple Watch a few days ago and all is well except when I go into my synced photos, they are all there and fully loaded but the spinning loading dots are persistently there in the app and won’t go away - very annoying when I’m trying to browse photos, does anyone have a solution to this?
