Data limits and multi device app synchronizatio...

Given that Apple decided to remove the App Store from iTunes, how does a person avoid using up their entire monthly data limit updating apps?

We have 4 iDevices presently and I was using a single computer to download all apps, then update the devices by synchronizing them with said computer.  This avoided downloading 4 copies of the same app(i.e. Facebook, Messenger, Netflix, etc.) and helped keep my data in check so that I actually had some left to stream something on Netflix.  Facebook alone is almost a gig of data to update four devices.  This excludes all the big ticket Apple items, like iOS updates and things like Pages, Numbers and iMovie to name a few which are monstrously huge.

Obviously, turning off automatic updates is an answer on a short term scale, but one can't go forever without updating.  Likewise, most public hotspots throttle your connection for things like app updates.

Bottomline, Apple needs to put the App Store back, either in iTunes or as a standalone app so loyal Apple customer with multiple devices can download updates once to use on multiple devices.
