why is my iPod in Heisei, and what is it

HELP

Heisei is the chinese year.

Your settings for your Region and/or Time have been changed to the chinese format.

Go to Settings --> General --> International and change your Region and Calendar Format.

I have no idea, Heisei refers to the time after the death of a Japanese Emperor in 1989. What that has to do with your iPod is beyond me. What is the message on your iPod? "Heisei" makes no sense. I guess try resetting or restoring. Good luck. Cheers.

Elitegate, way to go! Never heard of Heisei on an iPod until now. I've learned something new, I can go home now. Cheers.

Heisei is the current era language in Japan, "modern japanese.

Have someone who is current in japanese set the ipod to english language (or the one you want).

Heisei is NOT the Chinese format; it's the Japanese system.

On that same point, it is the name of the reign of the current Emperor, not the years after the death of the previous one.

Dude I've been stuck on this calender for so long. Thanks for problem-solving
