Hello, my MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) computer is running slow.
Any ideas on what I can do?

Looks OK, other than you are running low on RAM. Reboot your Mac to clear memory and run another report.
In addition to restarting your Mac (as suggested by macjack
), you can upgrade your computer’s RAM to 16 gigabytes. This will radically change the experience of using the Mac (it did for me).
You can find memory modules on Amazon for less than $100. Just pay attention to type and speed that your Mac supports.

That sounds like a good idea.
I'm not very computer savvy . . . would you recommend I take it in to Apple to have more memory added or take it to my local computer repair guy?
You can do that yourself, but for what you're running 8GB should be sufficient. Installing an SSD would improve performance more than adding RAM, if you want to go to the expense both for the drive and installation, as that is not as easy to do yourself.
But do you see any improvement in speed now?
