Ipad pro 10.5 screen dimming issues

I have recently switched from the ipad air 2 to the new ipad pro 10.5 and I am experiencing issues regarding the dimming of the screen when running pro apps like lightroom or even imovie.

As the name of the tablet implies this is a pro device made to run pro apps but the drop in the screen brightness is so big that you need to take a break until the device cools down. I have seen that this is an issue found on all "pro"devices probably from the intensive tasks and the passive cooling BUT this is what the tablet is adevertised for...right? This is why it costs almost double than the normal ipad...right?

I have found on different forums that this issue appears also on Procreate and Affinity apps so this is a clear issue on software that is more demanding than the usual browsing and email.

I have already tried to kill wifi, location services and any app running in the backround but after 20 minutes of editing it appears again (as the tablet gets warmer and warmer to the touch). I am not using any tipe of case, only the smart cover folded into typing mode so there is an airflow under the tablet.

I understand that this is a protection for the device but if you bought a car that is advertised to go 100mph and you find out that it can do that only for 15 minutes after that dropping the speed to 60mph you would be ******....

So apple please fix this or let the customers know what they are buying because you are selling a pro device that runns pro apps at the full potential only for a limited time.
