new iMac 27" had vertical blue line

Just got my new iMac 27" the other day (8/17/17). Within the first 30 minutes of booting it up I had a vertical blue line. The line does not appear when I screen shot it.

 

I restarted Mac and it was still there, about five minutes later it went away. Then it happened again 20 minutes later. Restarting didn't help and went away on it's own in about five minutes. A couple days later I haven't seen the vertical line. However, I am worried it could come up again later or be a sign of a problem coming in the future.

 

Should I return the iMac? Is this a common issue with iMac?

It's defective, if you bought it from Apple directly then please call AppleCare and arrange to have the computer exchanged or to get a refund. You can do this with 14 days of purchase so please take care of it ASAP!!

 

If you bought it from a reseller then contact AppleCare and arrange to have the computer repaired or contact the reseller and see if they will exchange it for you.
