remove tv shows from download queue

I have several series of TV shows I have bought from iTunes. Most of them were downloaded and watched, then deleted. There are seven episodes of one TV series that will not go away. They are in the download queue. They try to download, usually when I am forced to log in to the store. Then I have to stop the downloads and I try to remove them from the queue, but they just come back.

I noticed that there is a page on My Account where there is a list of what I have bought. It is possible to get to the series list and you can click Report a Problem. If you do this, you get a list of episodes and on the right side there is a place to click to report a problem. Unfortunately, it does not go to any customer service area, it just brings up the web page for generic (worthless support.)

I used to think that iTunes worked, but now it is troubled, at best. Everything is integrated and most of it is top notch, but there are endless little problems and there are no solutions to be found. I have log-in problems, problems trying to get an old iPod to synch at a lower bitrate, plus other stuff, and I never find solutions. I assume there are none.

I even tried to delete my movie in the queue for download from iTunes, or hide it. But it keeps on coming back after rebooting my MacBook Pro Retina. Downloading this movie in third world countries where WiFi is limited and expensive is a big waste of resources. But Apple seems to ignore this problem we cannot solve? Is there a solution we're missing?
