Does deleting a mail account on my MacBook from...

I am transferring my mail account onto my sister's old MacBook and I am trying to remove her old mailboxes. When I go into system preferences > internet accounts, it brings up all of her accounts. I see that I can select a mailbox and hit the minus symbol (-), and I assume that deletes the mailbox. The question is, will it simply delete it off of this MacBook Pro, or also off of my sister's other devices?
