ios 11 App Store not recognizing when new updat...

When I updated my 2017 iPad Pro 10.5" to ios 11 a few days ago, the App Store started telling me that "All your apps are up to date".  For example, Netflix updated today (9/22/2017) on my iPhone, but the iPad continues to report no updates are available.  The App Store has not reported any app updates since the upgrade to ios 11.

 

As a test, I have deleted a few apps off of the iPad and have successfully - manually - reinstalled through the App Store.  I've also have logged out, and then back in with my Apple ID and have even done a "Reset all settings" with no change to this status.

 

Running out of ideas ...

I have the same issue.   I have IPad Pro 10.5 with iOS 11. 

 

I have found this "dance" gets the "update" button to show in the App Store for existing apps that are iOS 11 compatible.

 

1) On the Device, in Settings.  Either turn on App store Automatic updates.  Or if it on, toggle it off and on again.  You should now at least seE the "count" of apps needing updates.  But they may still not have an Update button when you go to App Store updates.

 

2). Power Cycle / Reboot the device by holding BOTH the home button and power button until the white boot screen shows.

 

3) verify you are  reconnected to wifi, by using a browser.  I've noticed there is a little lag on getting connected

 

4) go to the App Store and check for updates.  There should show.
