Why am I being charged for songs when I have an Apple Music membership?

Apple Music allows you to listen to all the music available through the Apple Music app. You can download it to your device for offline listening. However, once you are no longer subscribed to Apple Music, you will lose access to the music.

If you buy music through the iTunes Store, you will need to pay for it. However, it will be yours to listen to regardless of the status of your Apple Music subscription.
