I'm using MacOS Sierra 10.12.3

I have downloaded a program not authenticated and when I go to security to bypass that I can't.  The one 2 options are apple and identified developers.  Does not give me option to just say yes download anyways.  I want this program.  Can someone tell me what to do please?

Thank you JimmyCMPIT but I did try this.  Went through the steps, when asked if I still wanted to open I said yes, but nothing happened.  I can see the icon in my applications but cannot open.

what app and what OS are you using?

It's called the Cricut Craft Room for cricut.com and I'm using macOS Sierra 10.12.3

so after you try to open this and you get the warning and you proceed and you go to >System Preferences.../Security and Privacy what shows in the general tab for "Allow Apps..."

same as before, just the two options:  only from Apple or Identified developers. 

Use this method all the time.

How to open an app from a unidentified developer and exempt it from Gatekeeper

If you are confident the app downloaded from the Internet is the latest version and is from a source you trust, you can open an app from an unidentified developer by following these steps.

Important: Some Apple screened apps from developers that are in the process of acquiring Developer ID signatures will present the "Open" option when they are double-clicked.

Note: In most cases, you will only have to perform these steps once for all user accounts on the Mac:

1. In Finder, Control-click or right click the icon of the app.
2. Select Open from the top of contextual menu that appears.
3. Click Open in the dialog box. If prompted, enter an administrator name and password.

Note: If there is an app that presents multiple Gatekeeper dialog boxes, you can temporarily use Gatekeeper's "Always" option. Make sure to restore the Gatekeeper option that was there before to bring back Gatekeeper function.

unlock the panel with an admin account and with it open run the installer.

So I unlocked the panel then the lock used the installer and this is the message I got

Install Cricut-Craft Room” is on the disk image “Cricut-CraftRoom_193.signed.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 12:57 PM from home.cricut.com.

I clicked open then got this message.

the same version of the application already exists on the system. Would you like to run the version already installed.  I clicked on Run now but nothing happens.  It starts to spin like it's working but then just stops and I still can't open.

I do appreciate your help.

it's possible the DL is damaged or it's incompatble with the OS.

If the developer can tell you if it's compatible I'd download it again?

you're not running any 3rd party AV for Mac are you?
