My Mail app is not receiving new messages and A...

As of this morning, my Mail Inbox stopped getting any new mail.  I know I'm getting mail, cause I'm receiving fine on my iPhone and in the Webmail Inbox (Microsoft Exchange account).  In looking at the "Activity Window", it shows it's "Moving Messages; 1 of 3".  But it never completes.  I can't seem to kill the moving messages.  I've shut down Mail.  I've re-started my MacBook Air about 3 times, and still no luck.  Any suggestions?  I even tried the "rebuild" option under Mailbox window, and it's just seemingly not responding.

I am having exact same problem as joeylake. I receive emails on my iphone. I can even send an email on my computer.

I have been able to search on Goggle, I don't get it????

I think "re-building" of the Mailbox is happening, albeit slowly; I'll update when it completes.

I'm having similar issues! My mail doesn't get new email and the is constantly saying "Downloading Messages"

Using Microsoft Exchange with OS 10.11.6

Also having issues with Calendar saying "There was an error attempting to send your changes to the exchange server"

I am having the same problem, have updated Sierra to 10.12.6, very slow downloading mail, but repeatedly downloads same email when I have deleted the once that I don't want, then it says "moving 1 of 21 messages" when I delete an email it starts up again moving, every time I delete it restarts e.g. I delete 1 message it says moving 1 of 46 messages the amount changes every time, can anyone help?

I am having the same problem. Stuck at "Moving Messages 1 of 188". I have also updated to Sierra 10.12.6 with many issues along the way. This is the last hiccup.
