copy and paste chord text in score editor not a...

I have a chord (text) at the start of each bar which I select and copy:

I then place the playhead at a new bar and I want to paste them into same spot, at start of each bar, but it does not work properly.  It skips the first chord and then offsets the 2nd 3 beats...

How can I copy and paste chord text properly?  I am going to be doing this a lot ...
