How cn I manually update Smart Playlist now?

Hi everyone, I have a smart playlist for all unrated songs and I've been updating their rating for each song. Only i don't want it to automatically remove the song I'm listening to as soon as i rate it. I want to rate it and it keep playing until i change the song or manually update the playlist so its no longer in there. In the older iTunes version it had an update smart playlist option when you right click on the playlist. Now this is gone for some reason? i have to manually edit the playlist rules, tick the auto update playlist button then press OK and it will update all the songs i have rated but will always be updating until i turn it off again. Which is annoying having to do this every time i rate a song.

Why in every new version of iTunes (about once a month?) apple removes some handy feature for no reason?
