I have searched Logic help and no clip gain?

Please can someone tell me where the clip gain control is in Logic pro x?

I typed in Clip and clip gain into the help and nothing comes up!!

Press i (so the menu on the left shows up), highlight an audio region/clip and look to the left in the menu that showed up when u pressed i, you'll have Gain if you expand the Region menu there.

Thank you bornyhitch,  as for gain staging, is it best to use this across all the channels or to add a this gain plug in across all the channels?

I think it's just a matter of the workflow, both works perfectly fine :-) But with the Gain-plugin, we can use it wherever we want in the chain! I think most people go with the Gain-plugin :-) It's nice to phase invert and check if it's out/in phase, especially with drum overheads/kick-snare relation imho.
