Cursor jumping issue on MacBook Pro 2017

Had the MacBook Pro for about a month.

As I type the cursor randomly jumps to a different part of the doc.

Before I know it I've typed a sentence midway through a previous sentence.

Maddening to correct and a nasty flow killer.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Not sure if I'm inadvertently tapping the touchpad with my palm or what.

Touchpad sensitivity is set to firm.

Is this keyboard just not going to work with my hands?

It is very common in old mac book. its because the battery getting enlarge and it pushing the touch pad. You can change the battery or do not close the screen after your use.

give a nice clean with alcohol gel and leave it open for couple of days( don't close the lid).

if it happen then please change the battery.
