I'm trying to use an old laptop (early 2008 MacBook Pro) as a print server.
The printer is connected to the print server with a USB cable and the printer server is on my wifi network.
I'm trying to send files to the print server wirelessly.
When I try to add the printer to my list of printers I get an "Unable to verify the printer on your network" error.
If I click "continue" the printer is added, but any files sent to it return a "printer not responding" error.
Is there a way to send files wirelessly to a print server?
I should add that the printer connected to the print server is not wifi ready.
