How do I stop auto play videos in Safari (macOS Sierra 10.12.6)?

Hi Dan:

I don't believe you can.

Google has announced that Chrome will be able to block autoplay in 2018.

Also High Sierra is rumoured to be able to block autoplay videos when released on Sept. 25th.
