Free storage on MacBook Pro

Help! My hard drive is full. I show 1.37 gigs of AUDIO (under About This Mac) but I have never downloaded no story any audio files. My storage ALSO shows 137 gigs under OTHER. I have NO idea what comprises OTHER. Any suggestions on how to delete AUDIO or learn what's under OTHER? Thanks!

You can download OmniDiskSweeper and install it. When you run it it will tell you the files and folders using the most disk space by name without any of that stupid "other" stuff.

Your first step before starting any disk cleaning project should be a full backup of everything. Just in case you delete a file that is critical to the system.

Your best bet if the file is not one that you created and you want to delete, ask here first for guidance on whether or not it can be deleted.
