Lost+found folder
I discovered a file located in Macintosh HD/lost+found. The file is named iNode11042291 and is taking up 5.0GB of space.
Has anyone heard of this? What is the function of the lost+found folder? I’m running macOS Sierra 10.12.4. In the process of updating to 10.12.6 and I’d like to free up the space. Is this file safe to delete?
