Facetime is  consuming 435 MB  of ban...

Facetime on my 5 year old iPad  is consuming 435 MB of bandwidth ( wifi) after just 11 minutes.   Another family member with same vintage iPad registered over 800 MB over the same time period again using her home Wifi.

This seems very high.

Is this an iPAd issue or an Internet Service provider issue?
