100GB is showing instead of 500GB unable to inc...

My internal HDD was full and I had installed Sierra on an external hdd of 100GB having two partition 1. mite (OSX Boot)[70GB] 2. Datas(30GB)

I decided to upgrade HDD on my MAC with new HDD of 500GB.

I downloaded Install MAC OS Sierra from the App Store by booting it to the external hdd and connected the new HDD (500GB Data) and named the disk as NewOSX.

When Prompted to install the new OS Sierra I chose the NewOSX hard disk. After installation I see it is renamed the HDD as "mite"  and I see both mite and Datas with same partition size as of original 100GB hdd.I do not see the rest 400GB.

How do I increase the 70GB mite partition size?
