getting message do not shutdown IP being used o...

I have MACbook pro getting message "do not shutdown or lose all info" "IP being used" it came in both a pop-up block and then an audio voice was saying the same thing.  What to do?

Those scams can appear to be legitimate and scary, but that's all they are... scams perpetrated by pathetic lowlife criminals seeking to defraud you.

Unfortunately they are also very common, and people succumb to them every day. Don't be a victim!

It's a total scam. Ignore it. Please read Phony "tech support" / "ransomware" popups and web pages.
