I have lost my Macbook Pro receipt

I bought my Macbook Pro in 2011 and i cannot find my receipt or e-mail receipt, i need it for proof of purchase, i bought it back in 2011, is it possible to get a new one?

proof of purchase for what if I may ask?

call Apple and ask for a copy.  If you did not buy it from an Apple store (an actual store or apple online store), contact the retailer that you bought it from.

I second shldr2thewheel's comments. Just call whoever you bought it from.

Apple Sales Support if you bought it online.
