iOS 11 drains battery on iPad mini 2

Hello. I just installed iOS 11 on my iPad mini 2 last night. Installation went well. The iPad works fine.

However, after trying to charge the iPad overnight, I discovered that the power was draining during the night, even though it was plugged in, or something else is going on.  I only had 30% power left on my iPad, even though I didn’t use it during the night and the iPad was plugged in. Go figure.

Looking at all the other comments posted on the community forum, it looks like there is a power drainage problem with iOS 11 on older devices like the older iPad mini and iPhone versions.

Is anybody else having power drainage problems on the iPad mini with iOS 11?
