Literally, my macbook pro fell 2 ft off my couc...

Doesn't seem like this should happen considering the quality of aluminum used in the macbook pros.  My macbook pro literally fell off my couch 2 feet and now the screen is all white and flickering, and there are some discolored lines in the far right portion of the display.  It's basically worthless at this point, minus the data being stored on it.  I cannot see any UI through the display.

It is relatively new, so this definitely should not have happened this early during ownership.  I've dropped my iPhone 6 plus from higher distances just a couple times and that device seems to handle falls much better.  I could use some help repairing without paying half of the full price of the macbook pro.  Please help if you can!

I suggest you call your local Apple Store and make an appointment for them to examine it. Afterwards they will tell you your options.
