Viber on iPad

Hello! Hope anyone can help me out.

So, I am trying to sync Viber on my iPad Pro using the "QR Code Scanner" of Viber. For whatever reason, it wont sync. The process just goes like this:

1.) Enters mobile phone on iPad

2,) QR/camera opens on my iPhone's Viber

3.) Scanned the QR code on iPad using iPhone

4.) "DING" sound

5.) Nothing happens

6.) QR code on iPad changes and iPhone's camera on Viber open again.

I also tried doing the send the code to myself and opening it on my iPhone but that does not work too. To add to that, I contacted Viber regarding the issue and they told me to restart and reinstall Viber. Sadly, that also did not work.

Does anyone have a solution to this?
