Internet stops working until I restart my iMac

My iMac specs:  mid-2010, 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3, 12 Gb 1333 MHz DDR3 running 10.10.5 OS X Yosemite.

For the last couple weeks, I have had the problem where, with no warning, I cannot load anything from the internet.  Error connecting or something.  I use Google Chrome, but Safari and Firefox also give the same problem (as well as the App Store).  The only way I can "fix" it is to restart my computer.  It started out being a problem every once in a while, now it's at least once a day if not two or three.  Network DIagnostics indicate that I am connected to the internet.  I have no problem connecting with my iPhone, iPad or any other devices.  I don't think I've made any changes to the system, so I do not know what's going on.  Could it be the network card??
