transferring itunes music files from 3 external...

First time poster and I need say, I have searched for my answer but have not found one that seems to completely answer my dilemma.

Working on a windows10 PC and 3 external Seagate hard drives.  I have iTunes folders (saved from older versions of iTunes) on all 4 devices and am trying to move the files from all the Drives to the PC iTunes folder and delete duplicates.  I have over 200 gigs of music on all 4 devices with some of it duplicated .

In the past, I have copied folders of artists with their album folder and their song files and pasted them into the current folder using the path where iTunes saves music on the PC. Then in iTunes, I would select "file/add folder to library" or "file/add file to library."  This was very time consuming doing it artist by artist.  I also tried to do it globally by "file/add folder to library" then selecting ALL of the artist folders do iTunes would add just the missing artis folders and this was not always successful.  I have delayed starting this consolidation because I have been down that path and am certain there is a better way!  Thank you in advance for any help you provide.
